that typically have low\, irregular pay and no employer covered health ins
urance. Many of these professions are essential to the culture and ameniti
es provided in the Florida Keys\, yet the workers struggle to pay for the
basic needs\, particularly in the high cost living areas. When individuals
have access to preventative care and chronic disease management through p
rimary care they are able to live the happier\, healthier\, more productiv
e lives.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The Plantation Key School PTA sets ye
arly goals that promote the welfare and education of children while taking
into account current school needs. They work in partnership with a variet
y of individuals\, including parents and staff members\, to accomplish our
goals. Their overall purpose is to make every child’s potential a reality
by engaging and empowering families and community members to advocate for
all children. The PKS PTA is dedicated to promoting student success and w
ell-being through strong parent\, family\, and community involvement. They
strive to offer services and resources that meet the diverse needs of the
PKS student body. They also promote activities that strengthen school spi
